Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy, £1500
This Active IQ Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to treat and/or seek to correct common patterns of dysfunction and suitable pre-diagnosed injuries.

There are two payment options;
In full: £1500
£350 deposit followed by three monthly payments of £350 + one final payment of £100
All fees include course materials and exam fees. All fees must be paid ahead of exam weekends.
Course Details
Level 4 is delivered over 5 weekends of face to face training (includes exams)
Training weekends take place every 3 weeks to allow for home study and practice
Workshops will include theory but are mainly practical based and run between 9.00am – 4.30pm on Saturdays & Sundays
You will be expected to do home study prior to and during the course as well as hands on practice alongside the teaching weekends. A minimum of 40 hours of hands on practice is required. This will be recorded via a logbook.

To understand the clinical procedures for client assessment and treatment planning
To be able to conduct objective physical assessments
To understand the purpose of neuromuscular and soft tissue mobilisation techniques used in sports massage
To be able to apply effective neuromuscular and soft tissue mobilisation techniques
To utilise soft tissue techniques appropriate to specific clients
To understand treatment modalities to support soft tissue repair
Entry Requirements
Learners must hold the Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy or equivalent
There is an element of communication involved (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 3
Performing sports massage is a physical activity and learners will need to be fit enough to carry this out
All applicants for level 4 must be over 18 years old
Assessment
Learners will be assessed by:
A portfolio of evidence including a written assignment
Practical observations and assessments
Practical logbook submission

This Active IQ Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy is a nationally recognised and accredited qualification.
You will find it on the Register of Regulated Qualifications and it counts for 19 credits.
The qualification is also recognised by the Complimentary and Natural Care Council (CNHC), and the General Council for Massage Therapies (GCMT).
